KKAKKA Community Wildlife Association U Ltd is a community-based non-profit organization that has been operating in the North Karamoja and East Acholi regions of Uganda since its inception. The association is dedicated to the conservation and sustainable management of the region’s wildlife and natural resources, with a focus on empowering local communities to become active stewards of their environment.

Collaborating with stakeholders to influence policies and advocate for the rights of local communities in the management of natural resources.

Our Geographical Coverage

North Karamoja Region

The North Karamoja region of Uganda is a vast and rugged landscape, home to diverse wildlife and resilient pastoral communities. This remote area is characterized by rolling hills, wooded savannas, and seasonal wetlands that support a delicate ecosystem.

East Acholi Region

The East Acholi region of Uganda is a vast and diverse landscape, characterized by rolling hills, dense forests, and meandering rivers. This region is home to a resilient community of agro-pastoralists who have coexisted with the local wildlife for generations
